Just recently had a go-round with a guy who insisted that something on the lines of “In public service, public business, etc., no discrimination allowed against anyone” was a horrible idea; because various minorities(but gays especially) need to be Protected Classes, with special protections.
Because ‘Equal Rights For All, Period’ isn’t good enough.
