Outside my office window this very minute

There were 11 in all. Some decent sized bucks. The one to the left is less than 12 feet from me. I could kill it with a big rock.
Instead I’ll go pour another bucket of corn out there. I love living in the country.

If you used a big rock, wouldn’t the possum cops (Wildlife and Fisheries guys) be pissed because you did not use an approved weapon AND we hunting over bait? ;)
Anyway, those deer look to be in pretty good shape for February.
You’re absolutely right, Eric. Therefore I take pictures. Should the SHTF however, these puppies would be hanging in my basement.
They look yummy.
Where’s my Thompson Center Renegade?
AWWWWW…they’re so cute. I love deer.
mmmmmm venison
Throw in a double yellow line and that is remarkably similar to what I saw through my window Wednesday night. Thank g-d for anti-lock breaks. OTOH, I was nearly injured by the fastfoodbag tsunami that splashed over me from the backseat. Man I need to clean out my car.
Dang, that’s nice. One of these days I’d love to have a house like that.
Killer view.
Wish I had it.
The deer in my yard in the evenings don’t bother to move when we get out of the car, walk onto the porch, & go in. They’ll freeze, raise heads, & watch, but they know they’re safe. I don’t hunt in my yard; then I’d never see them.
Deer are beautiful, & I love watching them. I have the added knowledge that these trusting deer could, if necessary, be an easy food source.
Two words, og, crossbow. Wait, that’s one word.
Or supressed .223 – that’d work, too…
Venison jerky!!!!!!
