Auction day
Today is the day of the auction at Lowell, mostly farm equipment and old lawnmowers and etc. but sometimes they have a decent old chainsaw or similar. That’s kinda what I’m looking for, is an arborists saw that halfway runs. Otherwise I just like to hear the auctioneer chatter.
I remember that old classic, was thinking about it just a few days ago, as a matter of fact. It was basically Leroy Van Dyke’s biggest hit. I used to hear him on the old AM “Country Crossroads” show with Bill Mack and Jerry Clower (Jerry was the reason I tuned in).
That brings back some memories of livestock auctions! Thanks!!!
Used to attend farm auctions with my uncles. Got a whole box of books for a dollar one time. Still have 3 Tarzan movie editions from that box.
