The Oglet is home from her first year of college.
No, I do not have any idea where the time has gone. I have vivid memories of her coming home from the hospital, six pounds and change. I ordinarily feel old but this is not helping.

I hear ya. My nephew is graduating high school already. Seems like yesterday that he was baby drooling on me
I go fetch mine next weekend. It’s such a short dance. Wish I’d have figured that out 20 years ago. I would have been a kinder person at times.
My little one returns today from her third year.
Just wait until your baby turns 50. Daughter said, “Boy, talk about making somebody feel old!” when she crossed the magical barrier. I told her it wasn’t HER who should feel old… Now, they are all over 50 but my 40-year old baby. …sigh…
Mine are all in their 20’s and 30’s…but the eldest finally got married, and I would guess there will be more grandchildren afoot within a year or two.
Just passed the 6th decade of existence, a couple o days ago, the older I get…well…getting old(er) isn’t for sissies!!
And kudos to the oglet for finishing year one, may her time be well spent over the next few years, and may she have very little time spent having to suffer the fools masquerading as professors, who exist in far greater numbers than there should be, at most institutions of higher learning!!
Mine are in their 30s, sigh…
time flies faster when they hit college. Treasure the few remaining moments as you realize your home is their foundation and yet now, their past.
Wife and I were discussing our eldest turning 10 this year.
I observed to her it feels like we just brought him home yesterday.
