Well, today is supposedly the day
The dumpster is here, and the crew is supposed to show up shortly. I need to go buy a piece of foam for the edge of the foundation, and a concrete saw blade, and some other devices, and I will be in like flynn. Of course the concrete guy hasn’t shown up yet, so I hope he does soon.

The missus and I have rehabbed three houses to greater or lesser degrees over the past twenty years. If I ever ask her to do concrete work again, it’s adios, she swears. I always take the quiet ones at their word.
Welp, they’re at it. Amazing the things a pro can do inside a tiny garage with a big skidsteer. Impressive. Also, 6″ of old concrete, hard as hell, without a piece of wire in it. Who does that?
less aggregate more crete does that. concrete with sand is like that.
