   Let’s make this perfectly clear. Having the best and brightest of both parties trading the throne room every 8 years hasn’t been so good for us either. I’m willing to try a wittless ape.

   If he attacks immigration, he has my vote. Nothing else he does or claims to do is of greater importance.

   All he has to do is campaign on three things: 1. Immigration policy needs to serve Americans, not immigrants. We don’t NEED any. Zero. 2. Real and effective border security. having a policy but no control is pointless.
   3. Enforce existing laws including mass immediate deportations. No more asylum for anyone, for any reason. The only “pathway to citizenship” is to go home and apply at the US embassy in your home country.

   And I disrespect McCain too. That guy needs to stop trying to rule this country.

   Perot part duex. We are so far down the rabbit hole I doubt trump can pull us out. I would prefer a proven record of union busting. Border is important but I think NAFTA is higher priority. We need to get the economy rolling.

   Re Best and brightest: According to them, they are. All the right schools. The best families. The insider advisors.

   Re Perot: Not much point. I think most of the republican party learned their lesson from Clinton doing that the first time.

   No expectation of pulling us out. Just expectation of doing ONE THING. Just one. A simple thing that doesn’t need congressional or court approval. Execute the laws we already have on immigration. That would make America a better place.

   Any corruption he migh engage in would be nowhere near what Obama has done. Trump doesn’t have that many friends with their hands in his pockets.

   What I like best about Trump is how he acts like a “tank” in WoW: he incites the press to attack him, thus letting everyone else do their thing unimpeded.

   He can do this because everyone involved knows that he is almost completely unelectable.

   I agree with Ed. It’s been fun to see someone tip all those sacred cows.

   And while I disagree with him about McCain’s POW days, I do wish to hell that old grouchy statist McCain would retire and go away.

   I think when it is almost all said and done we will be down to two. The best (Walker) and the brightest (Cruz). Although, Trump will make it interesting.
