Human life
Has value. It’s value is inherent and integral. There are times when ending a human life is regrettably necesary. “So I won’t miss prom” or ” this is just not a good time for me” are not those times.

If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.
Works for a lot of things.
I know a couple of people who did that, and they are neither particularly religious nor introspective. They are plagued by it, decades later. That tells me a lot.
I’m agonizing over whether or not to put a 15-year-old cat to sleep in the next day or two. (Actually, it’s more like “when”, rather than “if”.) I’m still upset six years after making that decision on another one.
And that’s just cats.
I hope to God that anyone who aborts a human child is plagued by that decision, at minimum, and for life.
And “because I can get $50 per part” is really, really not a valid reason.
There are times when ending a human life is regrettably necesary
And times when there are no regrets at all.
yeah, but they’re usually in their 20’s.
Well said.

But Og, nobody should be punished with a baby! Obama said so! I was taught in school that shagging like a dog in heat is healthy and natural! It’s my body! I do what I want with it!

I keep trying to point out to folks that if it’s OK to end a life just because that life is inconvenient to them, then all I have to do is prove that they’re inconvenient. They don’t like where that goes.
