The Quiet Man
Is any St Paddy’s day complete without The Quiet man? It’s on now, over my shoulder, the Duke dragging Maureen O’Hara cross country to prove to her he’s a man, even if he has to kill another man with his bare hands to do so.
Few moments in movies are ever this good. Maureen O’hara is still alive, folks. Think of her, and watch this movi- go rent it, if you have to. If you have a manly or a romantic bone in your body, you have to love this.
My number 1 favorite movie of all time. A mans man, a beautiful woman and gorgeous scenery- what more could you ask for?
Plus the best damn fistfight on film, ever.

Damn! We looked for that movie on every channel and couldn’t find it. Really wanted something to drink the Guiness to.
Not that much of a duke fan, actually…but Maureen O’Hara was, hands down, the hottest actress EVER. :)
She’s still alive? Cool. Just goes to show…not ALL the good ones die young.
I admit, I loved the scene where she realizes he’s going to burn the money, opens the boiler door for him, slams it shut, says “I’ll have the supper waitin'” and walks away, back straight.
