This morning
I drive to the memorial services of a friend and co-worker. I have known him for twenty years and I am not ready to say goodbye to him. He retired less than a year ago. There but for the grace of G-d go I.

Gotta have something besides work. Some hobby or community service thing. Some reason to go one beyond getting up another day.
It is hardest when we lose those we know personally that are near in age to us.
Sorry for your loss.
Condolences. And agree with Paul, take time for yourself!
My sincere condolences, Brother Og.
I don’t know what your friend interests were. Bowling, shooting, model trains, etc.
But if you can go and do, participate in, or even just pay homage to one of his “things”, it can help.
It’s a tribute, and a connection. And a solace.
Peace, amigo. To the quick and the dead.
