   No thanks needed. It was my job. I chose to do it. I got paid really well. The whole time I was there I didn’t do a damned thing to help you, preserve the Constitution, or liberty and the American way. Nor did I personally witness anyone else doing any of those things. I did witness a whole bunch of people managing their careers for their personal benefit.

   Thank you for getting out of bed every morning and doing something useful with your life that benefited me and everyone I know. Fixing all those machines and keeping the factories moving. Seriously. Much more important to civilization as we know it than anything I did.
