Might I suggest that we bear in mind that as bad as we thought the last eight years have been, half the country is going to feel exactly the same way for the coming four years.
We need to fix things without the “in your face, motherf***er” that has characterized the last eight years.
A common saying is the “the right thinks the other guys are wrong; the left thinks the other guys are evil”. For example, in the middle of those Project Veritas videos, that scumbag Robert Creamer went from casually talking about breaking federal election laws to saying the Republicans were evil because they were “racist as f**k”, so that justified what he was doing. It’s a warped worldview based on things that are factually wrong.
I don’t know how it gets fixed, but Trump’s tone in his acceptance speech sounded right. We have to fix it without the “I have a pen and phone, so f*** you” crap.

jetfxr69 – be my guest. I got roundly criticized for saying the same basic thing elsewhere. There’s apparently some folks who think the right answer is to rub people’s faces in it, like a puppy that just made a mess on the floor.
Sometimes it takes ‘the wrong man’ to do the right things.
We will need to see. He is pretty well liked by his staff and he is not terrible at Business. Biggest problem will be neither party will do what he wants. Just like when we sent the Tea Party candidates in. They became Reps Lite.
The evil is out there and it wants in now. It will not give up or in.
The post-election protests prove that the liberals will not stop their hateful, destructive, narrow minded ways, as they commit them while accusing their targets of being the hateful, destructive, narrow minded ones. The W Bush inauguration motorcade was stopped due to liberal violence. I wonder how the Secret Service plans on keeping this from also being marred.
That’s why I never understood the #nevertrumpers; that they acted as if God had totally abandoned us, or that, if Trump by some miracle won, God wouldn’t see to it that Trump rose up to meet the responsibility of the office.

Trump voters, both fanatical and reluctant, are hoping that he will indeed drain the DC swamp. But the swamp creatures are quite slippery, and Progs who have been most effective at operating with plausible deniability are the slipperiest of all.
With him appointing the former contrarian congressman, VP Mike Pence to replace the Jersey Jabba in picking the cabinet and other staff, there is much hope already. But the evil doers that wear the pleasant label “Progressive” have had a long series of successes with only a few set-backs that they waited out to advance again at our expense. Eliminating as many of those as possible will only be a lost dream if they can rekindle the Donald’s old liberal inclinations.
It is now my duty to scream bloody murder every time a trial balloon is floated that hints at him making deals that have any dint of benefit to the Progs. And that includes instances where the Progs arrange to give him what we or he appeared to ask for, only to contain poison to “prove” he’s wrong-headed.
That is how they operate. How they’ve always operated. And when their plans fizzle, there is always the assassin to do their bidding.
We live in a time where so many of us will be aware long before the ink is dry on legislation that it is going to backfire. That is the time to scream at the top of your lungs. Not like the Leftist paid astro-turds, but like the decent human beings we mostly are. By every legitimate avenue open to us. Let us hope the give-away of the Internet can be stopped or reversed, because it will be our best way of beating the Progs and their thugs.
Yes the evil is out there. But God in on the side of decency.
