What a week!
Engineering staff meetings and ungodly travel. 11 hours monday on airplanes and in airports, and 14 hours wednesday ditto (Starting at 0300 hours) and by the time I got home last night I was knackered. And now I’ve just gotten through the days catchup, and tomorrow I need to get expenses done, and pack up my grip, and sunday is SHOT.
good to be busy, but that is off the scale. I would whine for some help.
When you’re good, everyone wants you.
Might seem to be a trivial question, but not to folks who’ve done similar…what kind of shoes are you finding to hurt the least for those long, hard concrete days at SHOT, and similar?

I have discovered that, for my feet, “walking” shoes by the major manufacturers FEEL good as you are wearing them, but in the long run seem to actually cause damage. I wear these because they are well made shoes. If I put them on and tie them properly, and with the correct orthotics inside (I use Dr Scholls 440 orthotics) these may make my feet a little bit sore by the end of the day, but I don’t have issues with my knees and hips because they keep everything aligned properly.
( Of course, I have to watch how they wear. If the soles get worn too much I will resole them.)
I’m going to order a pair of those, thanks!
