I will grant you
That I do not update the blog nearly as much as I used to, or even as I ought, but I’m damned if most of the old bloggers haven’t gone off the damned reservation. I need to trim the blogroll because so many have quit or passed away, but I also need to delete some of the people who used to have thoughtful and insightful posts and are now apparently screaming tinfoil hat retards or over the top bible thumping nutbags.
If you have a blog I link to, sound off and let me know if it’s till active. If you have a blog and I don’t link it, let me know and I will. Maybe with some fresh blood I could turn this place around.

Every few months, I realize I need to go discover some new blogs to balance with the people who have quit… and a few who have actually died.
I’m sort of like the last wooden shop builder, though. I’ll keep doing what I’ve always done, long after everyone else has quit blogging.
It’s good to see there are a few others out there, too!
I’m trying to find motiovation to post here again.
I build buggy whips. Oh well.
You’ve got me at my old URL
http://ed-bonderenka.blogspot.com/
I need to post more also.
Post more! Miss seeing Neanderpundit pop up in my feeds.
You’re on my blogroll.
I’m still around, but you have me at the old blog. I did just go nearly a month between posts, but I’m just about to snuff my Facebook account, and if I follow through, I’ll be blogging more.
I’ve been a slacker for months but I refuse to give up completely yet.
Traction Control is still here.
I was so looking forward to trying on my new tinfoil hat, too….
Yeah, I need to do much better with my old blog … I need to write there and stay off Facebook! Safer for my brain and my temper. So please keep on keeping on, and thanks.

I have mostly been leaving comments at other sites rather than composing new posts. Much of what I have to say I’ve said before. Occasionally I will rewrite some thoughts by approaching from a different angle. Mostly it is a striving to provide examples of rational thought that was once more common than today. Most recently I awoke the blog to post some musings on Jordan Peterson’s emergence simply because he has succeeded largely by repeating what should be obvious what has been largely ignored, maligned, or intentionally buried by the ruling classes.
I think those of us who are still capable of it should see it as a far better to leave examples of rational thought than to try and obliterate every bit of errant nonsense that crosses our screens. The Soviet-Style Media has much greater reach than any of us to poison thoughts to benefit both its favored politicians and the moneyed interest who pay for its continued existence (and sometimes it’s really hard to divide those two interests.) It’s got to be the audience that learns to overcome the propaganda and indoctrination and divisiveness on their own. And so many have not been taught how to do that.
I’m now over 70 years and may only have a few years to go.
So I see it as far better that I not dilute the few insights that allowed me to correctly predicted where we are now than to try and match those successes that were easier to compose when I was younger.
It’s better to leave a legacy of mostly failed but at least attempted efforts at rational persuasion than to react to each new “15 minute” celebrity nut case that the SSM inflicts on us daily.
So it may be for the rest of your readers Og. And for you too. Let the key words at your blogs lead the reader to anything you may have had to say that was worth reading. Leave it as a gift to the upcoming generations so they may combat more effectively the bastards we all here recognize as having gained far too much power.
I’m still here. You’re still here.
It’s a good thing.

I still have a blog, but I’m trying to write for money so “posting will be light” (read: nonexistent) for the nonce.
Ii’m still here. The Hoosier blog alliance died about a decade ago, though
Still here.
Brigid has re-opened her blog, make sure it is there, best on the web still.
I still pay the bill on my blog, just to keep the access to the blogroll and olde articles.
Vanity, of course.

I do occasionally post something new on the blog… but not often.
The problem is that people don’t bother commenting on the actual blog posts anymore. They find the posts from reddit or twitter or facebook, and they have the conversation on THOSE platforms, rather than on the blog posts.
So I just switched to mostly facebook.
