The latest whinge by the victim left and other morons is exemplified by the sort of bullshit Ross Barkan pukes onto the pages of the Guardian, a publication I would not let my dog shit on. “The vacant Comfort hospital ship is a symbol of our coronavirus failure”
Look, you vacuous idiot. Hospital ships of this type are designed with a specific purpose in mind: The treatment of people who have been injured in combat. Oh, they can take care of your ingrown toenail, but these people are at the top of their game dealing with GSW’s, blunt force trauma, blast lung, shrapnel, blast wave, burns, blast wind. The purpose of docking the hospital ship on the Hudson is to take those emergent care patients leaving the regular hospitals to do the work of dealing with CV patients, which is what THEY Are suited for. That ship did NOT get sent there to gather up all the CV patients, and it would be incredibly stupid and a massive waste of resources if they did. The purpose was to take the strain off the emergent care and surgical care of land based hospitals if it was needed, and as yet, it’s not.

Yep. And that purpose was stressed repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly.
Can’t help it if the microcephalic folks on the left who litter the media with their waste product can’t read print or understand spoken English. Of course, most of them probably tune out Trump’s daily briefings because OMB/TDS.
The average guy got the absolutely wrong idea about the hospital ships — they were told the ships were coming to help and everyone assumed that meant CV cases. Which was not the military mission as they have explained it as they docked.
There are other people with non-coronavirus situations going on. The area hospitals already offloaded all of those people that they possibly could before the ships got there — they moved them to other facilities and discharged as many as they could. And with only emergency stuff going on with virus treatment there’s just not that many patients to talk about here.
With less traffic on the streets and less groupings of people the amount of the usual shootings and etc are also way down. Less traffic accidents too.
People with other medical emergencies are still presenting themselves at hospitals but they have to be in really dire shape to be there, we’re talking your burst appendix, your pneumonia cases, etc.
Probably not a good idea to move virus patients to these ships — they’re not conducive to treating pandemic patients.
They ARE really good at trauma but not this kind of thing.

Well, Of course we are all going to die eventually. Nut not of the CCP virus. And also. The hospital ships are also capable of handling people with NBC problems. So as applicable here. The Biological aspect. Those ships are probably better prepared to handle the Covid stricken due to their better air handling specifically built into the ships for THAT EXPRESS PURPOSE.
Hm. News to me. Have guys onboard those ships now and they’re telling me otherwise, but if you say so.
