Holiday Weekend
Aside from having a great range day, I also played host, briefly, to the DuToits
We met at a local restaurant called Tiebels, an institution way back to 1929, which is my kind of place: Good food. Good prices. No microwaves. Waitresses and hostesses who wear uniforms and greet and treat their customers professionally. Hey, I wasn’t going to take Kim and Connie to a hole in the wall.
Anyway, after lunch they came back to the house (TheDu Toits in MY HOUSE!) for a brief time before they had to hit the road again. It was a thrill to me, and they promise to repeat the trip.

Allow me to say here and now in front of G_d and everybody —
I’M JEALOUS!
M
You should be!
Me, too !!
swmbo
You never take ME to Teibel’s.
Broad, You got home cooked meals, you goofball!
(laughs) Well, yeah. But have you ever had Teibel’s stuffed mushroom caps!??
Sure. Mine are just as good, but you showed up too late!!
Yes, the word jealous is definitely applicable here.
Some guys have ALL the luck. . .
