Things heard in a house with a dog
WHere did you- how did you- what the- Dammit dog!!!
These are the Copperhead .20 caliber pellets i use in my air rifle for varmints.

This box was on a window ledge five feet off the ground.
This is where five of them ended up

The vet said if it were her dog she’d feed the dog, and strain and count. So for the nexst day or so we get to feel through dog poop, strain it, and look for five pellets.
Dumbass dog. I had walked away for five minutes.

Feed the dog and forget about it.
What goes in, comes out, guaranteed.
Yeah, that’s where we’re at. Less a concern about him passing it ( I KNOW he’ll do that) than the lead.
I work for veterinarians. This is nothing compared to what I’ve seen half digested and surgically removed. If it’s small and passable, it will. Just don’t walk the dog by a metel detector. Metamusil will help him pass it. Really. It will.

Be glad it wasn’t a cat and a spool of thread. Or in our case, the bobbin on my wife’s sewing machine. $3700 to fix him up; no regrets (he was only 3 years old). Three years on, he’s healthy and would probably do it again if all thread wasn’t locked up tight in this house…
