The type of work I do

would lead to schizophrenia in a normal person. I never get to follow a project through to completion, I’m always stopping at randon places and moving onto another job, then getting pulled from that to another- I have no less than five projects I’m working on and am going to get pulled into a sixth.

I sometimes have little daydreams about being able to workl on one job from it’s beginning to it’s completion.

Oh, it has happened, at least sort of; I worked on a job for a major mfr of locomotive engines for almost two years, and I only got pulled away from it fifteen or twenty times, so it was almost like I worked the project through, but these days it’s never the same place two weeks in a row. it takes a specific personality to do ths work, and so far as I know, I’m it. Sheesh.

Partner

Who lost one of his beloved pomeranians over a year ago, is taking the other to the vet this morning; hope and pray wtih me, please, for good news.

I’m a big guy.

Smaller than I used to be, but still big. And I have a good deal of tolerance for temp changes, but this is ridiculous.

Today even I grabbed the work coat out of the back of the truck and wore it into the office. The cold I don’t mind so much but you can keep this wind.
