For the first time in- well, since I helped elect Ron Reagan for the first time.

Our locals are all dyed-in the wool democrats. We’re a collar community for the mills and just about everyone has a Union Yes! symbol on their bumper. Amusing that some of the campaign literature has both Union Yes! and Pro Life! on it. the candidates seem to have no clue.

Anyway, there were only two republicans running, and they were not by any means superlative choices, though the one (r) candidate that actually knocked on my door with his own hand did in fact win. Guess actually showing up did count for something.

I’m about at the point where I want to stand outside the polling places with a taser.

The good citizens of our area voted about 56 to 45 percent to spend 160 million on a new school. Crikey. In this economy. Guess they don’t understand they have to pay for it. Monkeys.

Ordinarily, I don’t wake up with the overwhelming desire to kill everyone I see, that waits for the end of my commute. Today, I woke at two feeling like the dogs breakfast, once removed, and it has only gotten worse.

I have no business being at work today, but I have too many fires to put out to not be here. And hunting season starts saturday. Excellent timing!

People in those kinds of positions have a… certain lifestyle. the idea that Cain would have to “force her head down” is… laughable.

When it becomes obvious to everyone that this broad is batshit crazy, remember you heard it here first. Unfortunately it is probably the final straw for his campaign, much as I hate to think it.

Which leaves us with No, and Fuck no. I may go to one of my old dope smoking acquaintances, take a big pull on a fat spliff, and vote Wookie.
