So on the way into my first job

I’m at one of those intersections where there’s three streets that come together at an angle, and I feel a bit of a weird bump.

the car behind me is trying to sneak past me on the right. I move forward and try to let him, but it’s just too tight. So he keeps bumping away, and finally drives partway up on the curb and scrapes his tire on one side and the side of his car on the back bumper of the truck. He waves his thanks as he goes by. No damage to the Exploder, but his car (a 2011) was covered with such scratches and scrapes.

And I’m worried about the oglet’s driving.

Cool nights

Throw a couple extra blankets on the bed, and it stimulates the bear centers in my brain. Got up for the morning pee and very nearly crawled back in.

Comes the time of year

when I’m no longer likely to burst into flames while crooning doing yardwork, so I’m hustling to get stuff done to hasve the house snugged up prior to winter. The plan is to get two cords of wood high and dry, and under cover. Get the east windows of the sunroom weatherproofed and painted. Get the back porch paving stones relaid and releveled.

So I’ll be asshole deep in alligators for a while, till winter sets in, anyway. Hopefully I’ll have everything done by then.

Soon as I can I’ll try to get some more pics of the whatsis.
