The nation is in a world of shit; our progenitors would no doubt be disgusted by the current state of affairs, no less so than by our dogged determination to not do a damned thing about it. Will we do anything to deserve the independance so hard won, all those years ago?
Tomorrow, it is the Fourth of July here. It’s also the fourth in Bangladesh (actually, maybe even right now) it’ll be the fourth in Brasil and in Cabo San Lucas. It’ll be the fourth in Venezuela and in Canuckistan.
