insipid.

in·sip·id/inˈsipid/Adjective
1. Lacking flavor: “insipid coffee”.
2. Lacking vigor or interest: “insipid, shallow books”.

Hard to believe how fascinating this stuff was when I was three. Of course, that was it’s target demographic, I suppose. Do the authors/illustrators break free of their insipid bonds at the end of the day, and curse, drink, carouse? Did they go on to illustrate “Little Annie Fannie”? Why were all the rest of the timbertoes naked, and Mom timbertoes had a dress?

Y’all can stand down.

Take off the colander, put away the long gun, it’s only blooglespot. Really. It’ll be back in a bit, I’m sure.
