I obviously didn’t get a good deal of sleep.

Actually that’s not true, I slept like a log, but I was up at five assembling.

sort of surprisingly, the whole deal is easy as hell to assemble, (Though I had to use all five hands to put the damned ejector in, and I shot it across the room twice requiring me to get on my knees and search in semidarkness for a part less than a half inch long and the diameter of a pinhead)

I haven’t wrung in the barrel yet, i’m gonna borrow a wrench and action block this afternoon. Otherwise, it’s together and looks like it will be fun to shoot. I also need to wring in the gas key bolts and stake them, but that’s a simple thing.
All told, it’s an M4gery with a detachable carry handle (I’ll be getting a Fakog to put on it someday) for $485

to Ed Hering, one of the very first things I did was to order the parts kit to assemble the M4gery.

it was backordered, so I didn’t get it. They charged the card, which was annoying, because there were several times in the interin when I could really really, really have put that money to better use, like helping out a couple friends who were in need, and I could not because the money was already out of my account. This did not please me.

On the other hand, my order has now shipped, and I’m refreshing the UPS tracking site like a crack addicted monkey pushing the crack-pellet button waiting for the moment when I can finally build my AR and join the fraternity of black gunnies.
