Range day!

Actually, I’ve gotten a couple range days in and haven’t had time to blog about them, but suffice to say they rocked on ice, as all range days do.

The one on the saturday before easter was awesome. Took my nephiew with, and a co-worker came also, we sat at the range for hours and just made hundreds of holes in paper. Ogs Law:

A couple readers of the site have commented in private about some of the (seemingly hopeless) causes I’ve taken on in my personal life, (no, I’m not blogging about them, work done in charity should be kept to yourself, thank you) and I tell them, it’s rule one and rule two; here those rules are for your enlightenment.
Og’s first law:

If you see someone who is in trouble and you don’t help, you are the problem.

Og’s second law:

If you don’t see someone who needs help, LOOK HARDER.

I’m not reading Day By Day in the Tribune yet.

What is WRONG with you people? Get your butts out and make it known that you want this man syndicated! NOW! I want to have a REASON to buy a NEWSPAPER again.

Frankly, Chris over at Day By Day may be one of our best hopes for conservatism. Even neanderthal like me read the comics, if 2% of Chicago Tribune readers read Chris’ strip, and even one of those strips struck a chord, someday Illinois might stop being a People’s Republic!!

Okay, I’m dreaming. But a guy’s gotta dream, right? Go and do. Phone, writre, mail, fax, just get this guy some recognition!
