Pathways

Having just been through an experience (angiogram) that I’m not anxious to repeat, I have some things in my life I’d like to examine.

For instance: My eating habits and lack of exercise have been known by me to be less than optimal. I’ve been hearing eat less, exercise more, for many years. Good sound advice that nobody tells you HOW to accomplish.

On the good side, I’ve already quit smoking and seem to have survived it’s effects relatively unscathed.

On the bad side, I’m currently dealing with a great deal of stress.

I have an incredible and understanding boss, and he helps me where he can.
I don’t know if he can do enough to de-stress my current position. I hope he can, I hope he does, because I LOVE my job. I also love the people I work with, they are some of the best in the industry, bar none. An incredibly talented and decent bunch of folks. I am proud to call even the worst of them my friends.

The so-called medical profession

I have an optometrist who rocks on ice. The guy is so good, you cannot believe it. When you are in his examining room, you feel as if you are his only patient. His father was an optometrist, as is his son. He practices in the house he grew up in, across the street from a coffee shop and two doors down from a local theater. He has gone far afield to provide for my special needs as a shooter, and frankly, he’s done an excellent job.
