Finally

There’s not much to compare with the frustration of hunting day after day and getting nowhere.

There’s also nothing to compare with the excitement of bagging a deer, especially when you haven’t for, in my case, over 25 years.

It felt good. My heart raced for a long timne afterwards. I dropped it fast, too, one shot and down, I hate it when an animal suffers. Unfortunately I punched out both lungs and the heart so I was denied the heart stew. It’s good to be back in the saddle, it resets my perspective on a lot of things.

Now I understand why I haven’t gotten one. They’ve been all around me.

Stockholm, Sweden

Locals show growing unrest as tectonic activity continues in the small cemetery called Norra begravningsplatsen.
“It seems there’s some underground movement. We can’t imagine what it is” said local offcial Sven Jorkelsen. “We’re recording vibrations of a frequency higher than 3200 vibrations per minute”
Gravedigger Beorn Twigmuntus had a different story
“Ya, it’s dot Nobel. He vas kinda resless in 01 ven dey gave da prize ta dat Kofi guy. In 02 ven dey gave it to dat toothy American you could hear him yoost a floppin baak und fort, but he kinda settled down in 03. Now, wit dat wanga-wangu-vangar- oh, jees I could never get dat name rite, he’s started to yoost plane spin. He’s goin at a right clip, from da sound of it. I’m gonna dig down and hook up a couple belts, and a alternator, and charge da batteries on da Sno-Cat. Nosense wastin dat energy.
