Daughter and I just got finished watching a Jeff Corwin Experience show about Tazmania. I love watching nature programs, and this one is no exception; Jeff Corwin is a lot of fun.
Today, he was talking about Monotremes. For those of you in Rio Lindo, monotremes are unique in the natural world; they are mammals that lay eggs. Only two types of these creatures exist on earth, and they are the Duckbilled Platypus and the Spiny Echidna. In addition to laying eggs, they feed their young, lacking teats, by sweating milk on a certain patch of their skin. Yep, in all the world, there exists no other mammal who lays eggs. Wait, what? Oh, there’s a third?

One of the first- perhaps the very first- person to blogroll my lame old AOL blog, and a great guy besides, has new digs. One of the more amusing members of blogdom, for my money, beause he entertains trolls, and blasts them like the shoe scrapings they are. A man with a temper not unlike mine, and the balls to post his home address on the internet, inviting trolls to, as he says, “bring it on” Watch this space, seriously.
