Just in case anyone is wondering

nine days on the Elations shit for joints, and it’s still helping.

My knees are not “fixed”. Not even surgery can do that anymore. But they feel much better. And it’s also now easy to differentiate between “Bad joint pain” and “I overdid it working in the yard yesterday” This in itself is a good thing, and has been helpful- it helps prevent me from overdoing anything (by allowing me to distinguish when I am)and the megadose of gluco/chondroitin has helped the “normal” stuff go mostly away.

In other news, the 3/8″ drive rachets were all in the basement. I had been using them on the lawnmower deck, and it was handy to have several at once, each wiht it’s own size socket.

I wonder

The political element in this country has become a class unto itself, a caste system more domineering and segregationalist than ever were the Indian castes; they now think themselves our masters and above our reproach.

I know this is a pipe dream, but I think there might be some changes if we could insist that every stupid idea they want to foist off on US, (Gun control, health care, socialisim in any form) be adopted by THEM FIRST. And they have to finance it our of pocket and prove it functional for TEN YEARS before it can be even CONSIDERED by the general population.

So here’s my bumpersticker:

I think it can be used for a lot of things. And I think we need to let them know that we won’t countenance this bullshit. Let it be our rallying cry.

Just Damn!

Dax craps on Vman’s book.

Fortunately, the cover of the book will probably wipe clean. Me, I liked it. Dax even says he liked it but it wasn’t worth $28. Well, I read it, the wife read it, and I know at least two other people will read my copy, which brings the cost per read to seven bucks, and I can guarantee there are at least seven bucks worth of enjoyment in it. In fact, I just now thought of three other people that I will probably loan it to, which brings the cost closer to four bucks per read.

Maybe that’s Dax’s problem, he doesn’t know enough people that would enjoy this to amortize the cost around.

As for me, I liked it fine.
