I will think of those people who went away, and did not come back.

I will also think of those people who came back broken, either internally or externally, and felt that pain all their lives.

I will speak their names out loud to those around me.

I will remember what they gave for my freedom, not without a little shame for not protecting the gift better.

God bless him, he liked to drown himself in it. He certainly learned the lesson of Emerson Fitipaldi.

While I like to see people like Helio win the race- and I hope I live to see him get his fourth and maybe fifth, just because he’s so into it and he has so much (apparent) love for his fans, Tony got it and did so after many years hard slog. Like the very best winners and professionals, he was humble and self deprecating. “Finally, I’m going to put my ugly face on that trophy”

Congrats, Tony, now you belong to a very elite and exclusive club.

If I had knees, I would be doing this.
