But it won’t let you drive home afterwards.
The Oglet drove me home, and I napped most of the morning and parts of the afternoon. I wore the “Nose diaper” for the whole day and most of the night- the bleeding didn’t stop in earnest until I spent long periods sitting upright.

I stayed up quite late and spent a lot of the night watching movies on Roku. When I finally did get to bed, about four AM, the bleeding had stopped and only restarts, now, if i sneeze or cough severely. Im on a level of antibiotics that is so powerful that if you think you have some bug or another, hold the afflicted part up against this post on your computer monitor and it will probably fix you right up.

I can already breathe better, I assume because they carved out a large chunk of my deviated septum. The doctor didn’t get a chance to speak to me postop. My septum was deviated about thirty years ago by the attentions of a fairly large and fairly angry man with a powerful left hook. My nose is still predominantly on the left side of my face following this incident- it’s not immediately obvious but if you hold a ruler from the center of my forehead to the center of my chin, you can see it.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I hope to be able to run the chainsaw again today, before the propofol completely wears off.
