the home tower to Win7. It had been sluggish lately so it was due; I tend to keep the OS on SATA 0 and data on SATA1, and I had a fresh clean Win XP pro on a spare drive but I thought, why not see if 7 is any improvement in speed, and so far, it’s ok.
Winrot is a pain but it’s the price you have to pay to get a computer that will do the shit I need it to do.
was a tank converted to flamethrower use- I think that one only saw use on Iwo Jima but the type had been used quite a bit in both wars.
One of the problems with this- especially with a mechanized opponent- is the HUGE ARROW OF CHARRED VEGETATION that points directly at your position. Or in the case of winter war, the huge arrow of melted snow.
it’s hard to hide, then. Not that tanks were easy to hide in the first place.
the time is rapidly approaching (Indeed, maybe already here) that we have to put away our flamethrowers. We can keep doing what we’re doing, but we have to do it differently and ELSEWHERE. As countless people are finding out, you can’t do anything that points to you. Instead of posting what you’re going to post, print it and mail it to twenty people. Keep your head down. or you will act as an object lesson to those who follow you.

The path to CCW in Illinois is actually less onerous than I had originally expected. Of course had it been up to the God of Illinois Madigan, you’d have to do a handstand and juggle live grenades while singing the Catalina Magdalena Hoopensteiner Wallendiner Hogan Logan Bogan song. And that would just be to get into the room where you had to wait till the sixty first of juvember to fill in the card that entitled you to a wristband that would get you into the training class.
It looks like its going to be $150 for residents and $300 for non residents. But it is a big foot in the door.
After all these years, a little freedom comes to mordor.
