was a tank converted to flamethrower use- I think that one only saw use on Iwo Jima but the type had been used quite a bit in both wars.
One of the problems with this- especially with a mechanized opponent- is the HUGE ARROW OF CHARRED VEGETATION that points directly at your position. Or in the case of winter war, the huge arrow of melted snow.
it’s hard to hide, then. Not that tanks were easy to hide in the first place.
the time is rapidly approaching (Indeed, maybe already here) that we have to put away our flamethrowers. We can keep doing what we’re doing, but we have to do it differently and ELSEWHERE. As countless people are finding out, you can’t do anything that points to you. Instead of posting what you’re going to post, print it and mail it to twenty people. Keep your head down. or you will act as an object lesson to those who follow you.
