The nation has been preoccupied for a long time with an “us vs them” mentality, based on a republican “us” and a democrat “them” but the truth is dawning on more and more people that “Them” is the priveleged ruling elite. “They” have a vested interest in keeping their positions and imposing whatever restrictions are necesary to do just that; we, for the most part, just want to be left alone as much as possible. Angelo Codevilla says it much more coherently than can i, you should read the whole thing.

Remember: Since the dawn of time, anything government touches invariably eventually turns to shit. It has reached out and touched us, finally, in ways we cannot shake off. Are you willing and ready to make the transition?

The “Ruling class” has already fired many shots; their weapons are their ability to control our lives without our consent, and the battle is nearly already lost to their tactics. The ‘Country class” needs to get up off our asses.

named in honor of R Lee Ermey’s recent Geico Commercial, the Cushman has finally come into it’s own. It runs reliably and will haul a lot of crap around the yard. I haven’t yet tried to negotiate the hill.

The color is “Almond” which is close enough to the old ‘Desert sand” camo. I may put more detail on it, I may leave it as is. Eventually I think it will get a cab.
