Gone but not forgotten

Kim and Connie are gone from the blogosphere.

I fully expect them to stay gone, because I know what their lives are like, and I don’t envy them. I am also pleased to see them get back some of their own lives.

Blogging for me is utterly effortless. Anyone who knows me well, knows that if I had to expend any amount of effort I would shut it down instantly. I sit down at the end- or beginning- of a day, and this shit just spews forth. I suppose it shows. I’m not here to entertain you, I’m here to entertain me. If you’re entertained, that’s wonderful, and i thank you for your patronage. If not, well, I am neither concerned nor surprised. I never, after all, promised you a rose garden.

Anyway, Kim and Connie actually expended energy and effort to do their stuff, and if I had to do that I’d never blog. I appreciate what they’ve done, and I’m sorry to see them go.

On the other side of this, their voices will not be silent, just because they’re not blogging. They haven’t died, just chosen to live their own lives.

Now I need someone to step up to the plate to fill the gap in my blogroll.

Don’t know exactly what i ate

but yesterday, I had a bowel movement that was so solid and dense, that aside from physically causing pain on its way out,, I additionally had to use a bent coathanger to break it up into pieces the crapper could digest before the crapper would flush. It was as if I’d eaten a large piece of concrete.

While I was stirring this unholy gruel, I saw a piece of something that was still better suited to be POTUS than BHO. But it was already, alas, on it’s way down. Like our country will be.

Mumbai terrorists

I can’t imagine what everyone is worried about. The Messiah is going to fix this all. The office of the President Elect has all the power and qualifications to straighten this all out.
