Yes, it’s amazing

What a good night’s sleep will do for you- especially a night where there’s a storm raging outside and you’re nice and dry in bed.

Conquering the elements is one of mans most primordial pleasures- being able to build shelter against rain, and snow, and cold, and hurricane and even atomic blast, has been an obsession of humans since there were humans. We’ve even built shelter against the vacuum of space and the pressures of the deep.

Nobody who has ever built a home, or a garage, or even a garden shed can fail to understand how satisfying it feels to stand in the shelter looking out at uncaring nature and think, I built this, and it’s protecting me from that.

Felt like shit

Or at best “Death, slightly microwaved” all day yesterday. The combination of hustling dirt and logs and other BS in 100 degree heat plus sinus crap and etc. is getting to me, and it didn’t help that I didn’t sleep worth a fiddlers damn mon PM.

Last night, I woke at the usual time to empty my bladder, and despite the kickstand, managed to get most of it in the toilet. Then still despite the kickstand, managed to get my ass back in bed and back to sleep. So I got a solid 7 hrs of sleep and now feel as if I am very nearly human, or at least human like.

Ahhhh.

So for the first time in- shit, I don’t even know how long, I have thrown ALL MY UNDERWEAR AWAY.

No, I am not going Commando, I replaced them with NEW drawers the CORRECT SIZE.

Now the boys have some support.Got a couple bags of matching pocket tees at the same time too. I am SUCH a fashion plate.
