Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of meeting, for the first time, someone I’ve known for a hundred years.

My friend Jenny, raconteur, nudge, sometime commenter on this blog, came to Chicago to visit, among other people, me! I have been corresponding with her for many a year, and found her to be even more gracious and ladylike in person. A very nice surprise. Now, if I could only get her to blog…

Additionally, I got to meet the Great and Powerful Ed Zotti, one of the contributors to the Straight Dope, close personal friend of Cecil Adams, who signed one of his books and gave me one signed by Cecil. Tasty night.
