Tonight we rode. Last night was all classroom but tonight we rode the course, starting with rocking back and forth and moving up to shifting and braking, some swerving.
None of this was particularly hard, though I will say I’m gonna want a LOT more practice. And the instructors are patient and quick. I just wish I had a days worth of practice time between each session, but I got that mean old “job” to do.
Mr Porretto, like Lots of folks is discussing the Zarqawi deal and I have yet to see anyone even bring up what I consider the most salient point of the whole affair.
US Intelligence had inside information, confirmation, of the existence of Zarqawi. And that info was good, and that info paid of.
What does that mean, really?
Simple. It means that within the very secretive and bizzarre society of the terrorist community, the US Military has allies. We have people at the TOP. People who knew where Zarqawi was, and could pinpoint his location. The armor of Islam as terror is cracking. That is the salient point. Taste that. Taste the flavor of it, roll it around your tongue like a fine wine. Even within the terrorist organizations themselves, Terrorism is beginning to crumble. Relish this moment.
Tonight was the first night of my MSF course, and I have to say, based on what I’ve seen so far, everyone who drives should take this course. You have a greater respect for the difficulties of motorcycle driving, that’s for damned sure.
Class goes all week. Looking forward to it. Looking forward to having the bike on the road.
