Had to ban several assholes

and their IP’s so if you cannot comment, please by all means email me at mhardig at aol dot com. I’ll try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, go read this story by Dick, who takes care of business in a way only a graduate of Mrs Benning’s school for wayward boys could. Also: this story by Tammi deserves your attention. Go see if you can assist, or failing that, send her your thoughts and prayers.

Finally, today, go send your condolences to M. Alger and his lady, who have lost a treasured friend. While less of a fan of cats than say, of Al Quaeda, I know what it’s like to lose a friend, and I am sorry for their loss.

Family Reunion

Drove down and back to the reunion yesterday, a welcome break from the show.

Good to see all the folks. Spent some time talking to my dad’s cousin, who has been trying to track down who we are and where we all come from, and as it’s an unusual enough name, we’re having limited success. I keep trying though, I want to leave some record for the next generation. I’m, looking at software and services, if anyone has any suggestions.

Back better

so I took the opportunity to hit the road via motorcycle for a brief stint. Of course I had left the petcock in the “drain all the fuel into the crankcase” position yet AGAIN, I had to change the oil first. That sucks. Back pain also sucks, as do many other things; however:

The moment when you sit upright, between a left curve, and a right curve? that millisecond when you lean back the other way and don’t know if you’ve gone too far or not far enough, and then the tires bite and you roll the throttle on? that utterly does not suck.
