A year ago this morning Cooney our orange cat shuffled off this mortal coil. He lived the last couple years of his life not straying far from his litterbox or bed, and he’s buried outside the Oglet’s bedroom window.

We had a rose die, and as I was replacing it I found a spot of green near the root; I pruned it back hard and plantred it where I planted Cooney, and it recovered! So a china rose marks Cooney’s grave.
