Seems like I’m forever changing brakes

but I guess I last did them in February. Ah, well, at least it’s free.

22 minutes start to finish, and that included swapping the rotors. I’ve spent way too much time with this truck, I know each nut and bolt like it was a part of me.

I have not, yet, replaced an inner tie rod end, until tonight. That took me another twenty minutes, mostly because I didn’t want to knock out the old outer. I unscrewed the old inner from the rack and from the outer, and screwed them back in place right on the truck. I’ll have to have an alignment soon, but the little wobble i thought was the lower A arm bushings is gone. I feel a lot better about driving this sucker in the upcoming winter, and 400,000 miles is in sight.

One thing to be thankful for: Mike Jackson is still dead.

Additionally, roly poly fish heads will never be seen drinking cappuchino in italian restaurants with oriental women.

No, there’s no connection, it is just in my head and now its in yours.
