Dick is OK, he’s just dealing with personal issues and buried in work. His son, on the other hand, has just joined the USN.

Keep a happy thought for the USN. They got they hands full now.

All of which means Obamacare stays, spending will still be out of control, etc.

Maybe- just MAYBE- this means he can’t do any more damage. I doubt that, though. My mediocre hopes for the election were completely justified

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I looked at all the libertarian candidates, but I haven’t smoked enough dope in my lifetime to make any of them attractive except as “not A or B”. After I voted I dropped the daughter off at school. She asked, “What are libertarians?” After explaining as best as I could, trying very hard not to give her any prejudices where non exist yet, she said ‘No. If Republicans are Elephants and Democrats are jackasses (her words) what are libertarians? Ostriches?” She meant it to be funny, but she had NO IDEA.

So all day I’v e been thinking of the Libertarian symbol as an Ostrich, perhaps with a cannabis leaf instead of a stinkstar for an asshole.
