Met John MXL last night in the Bass Pro cafe for Pork Tenderloin (Tasty! And not overcooked!) and conversation (Tasty! And not underdone!).

Always nice to meet other bloggers on the road, it makes hotel stays a lot more bearable, and as John says, we are brothers from different mothers.

Yesterday I went back to the hotel for lunch, preferring a sammich from my in room fridge to the usual fare at the fast food places (I did get a big drink from Burger King) and the cleaning girl at the hotel asked me “Anything you need? “Yes!” i replied, “I could use a couple extra garbage bags for ice for my knee!” She gave them to me and said “Is there anything else?” I looked at her eyes, and it dawned on me what she was suggesting, and thought, oh, my God, woman, you’re either half blind, stupid, or insane, and in any case I want nothing to do with that even if i WAS interested! So I left as quickly as possible. The weird, it burns.
