Nice to have a good chainsaw that runs reliably to do the clearing. I have a lot of shit to do, but it’s moving along.

There’s a duck nest six feet away from the tree, so I was careful not to disturb that, and after a nights worth of sawing I came upto the house to note that a bigass owl is perching on the downed tree. Looked like a greay, it had bright yellow eyes- and it was spooky to look at. Eventually it flew away, I assume it was brought in on the storm.

Lots of changest today, lots of news, lots of odd occurrences and happenings. Schnoz seems to be healing well. Back to the grind, as it were, tomorrow.

Has lost a lifelong friend and colleague suddenly. No details are know but they have worked together in the racing field for a third of a century.

I would be personally appreciative if you could spare a moment to send a thought or a prayer her way.

Slept in on a sunday for the first tine in 18 yrs. So 0930 mass instead of 0730.

No idea it was a midget mass. There must have been five of them.

Makes me wonder if the noon mass is populated by wookies.
