At 07:30. No biggie, really.
“We need to dispel some rumors”
yeah? What rumors? I haven’t heard any rumors. SO I asked.
“What rumor on earth could possibly be worse than the actual truth? ”
People don’t seem to have a very good grasp of the facts, sometimes. And they hate it when they have to admit I’m right.
The workbench is ensconced, the next thing is the toolbox. Then the air compressor. The table saw. Once that stuff is in the garage it will be close enough to done that I can move on to other projects. Like the ten-twelve tons of firewood in the yard. And a backyard that has not seen a lawnmower blade since the great yellowjacket attack of 2014.
Got to get mowed, one way or another. And sooner rather than later.
Heavy steel legs, from a couple generations back. And a couple of actual four inch square four by fours, from somewhere in Austria. And a four plank 40″ wide top made from a white ash deadfall that came from a wooded lot a few miles from here. Took two of us just to turn the top over, and I thought for a moment it was going to crush the sawhorses.
The floor is done and we will park indoors tomorrow. It’s been an inconvenience parking outdoors, but we’re back to normal now.
