No, really; if you have difficulties finding decent quality shoes, look hard at these. They are made in the US, and they are proper welted shoes. Welting is the process of sewing the upper to a band of materal which is then sewn to the sole. This makes for the most durable construction and is the way high quality shoes are made.
Capp shoes sells these to the military, and they have a bunch of styles, though they’re all somewhat plain. They have women’s shoes, too, though they are probably not the height of fashion.
