Remember when Robert Plant got stupid and recorded “Sea of love”?. He can still sing. I mean, really sing, and recording that song proved it. I still like that song, and it’s part of the rotation on the desktop. Hell, it’s a fairly contemporary song, right?

Wrong. That song was recorded in 1985. It’s old enough to drink in all 50 states.

Now that you feel ancient, go here and look at all the other songs that seem so recently recorded and are the same age. Top song for 85? “Like a Virgin”. It galls me to agree with Rosie O’Donnell, but I have to agree with her on this point- the only thing Madonna will ever do like a virgin is have a baby in a stable.

I have had the opportunity to work with an overlarge portion of illegals through my lifetime. And a few legals.

I haven’t got answers to this problem, it’s complex, and simple answers will not work.

I know this: Many if not most of the people who come here to work and better themselves, are decent people, have good strong families, and have a lot of the better qualities we, as Americans, have lost.

I would like it if it was harder to get across the border illegally. I would liket if there were some hoops you had to jump through to get citizenship. I would like it if people would stop casting aspersions on what for the most part are damned decent people.
