It’s a week till Christmas. Find someone who needs something, and get it for them, if you can. Shovel a walkway, insulate a window, make sure someone who can’t get to mass another way can do so. Make a difference. Even if the person in question may not ompletely deserve it, actually better if they don’t. The undeserving nature of the recipient doesn’t diminish the value of the gift.

Archery is like a bicycle.

yeah, it’s been a hundred thousand years since I shot a bow, but I apparently still have the ability. My new bow ROCKS! Between the morning and afternoon hunting sessions I spent some time at the archery range, and I can still put them in the X ring, though my skills could use some tuning out at 40 yards.

Well, fact is, I saw three deer first thing this morning. At the far left was the parking lkot where I saw them At the middle of the picture is where the deer were. I had no idea what was to the right, and I wasn’t taking any chances.

So what did I get for being responsible? Skunked.

Damn, this is disheartening.
