I have looked at all of the local retailers and could not find a pair of the boots I wanted.

I’ve been looking for Danner Desert Acadias.

Nobody has them locally, and nobody wants to order them. Gander Mountain. Cabelas. Bubkhis.

So I found the bastards online. Made in America. Gore-Tex. Should be here in a week.

At least I weas able to try on a pair of similar boots at Cabelas so I could confirm sizing- but damn. What’s the big deal, folks? You have $10,000 rifles, why not carry $200 boots?

Whole pork tenderloins for $1.69 a pound. Damn. Got three, cut ’em up and froze. Like thirty pounds of meat for so little it’s not funny. Have to defrost the garage freezer and maybe go get some more.
