You know the stuff Jane Curtain wore in SNL? the ones that went up over the hips, and were tight in the fanny, and the legs were almost bells? The cuffs covered the shoes? I LIKED that. I miss that. I like to see women dressed like that in old movies. Why did that look go away? Just about any woman could pull it off and look OK. Some nice women’s suits still look like that.

Most women today, I don’t know if they’re stressed at the dichotomy between trying to look professional and still be attractive, or if they learned to dress from their cousin the hooker, but it’s just not doing it for me.

Deer season begins in Indiana next weekend. I hope to hell I can get one, and quickly. I feel guilty going hunting because I have so many other pressing issues that I ought to be dealing with, but I’m damned if I’m gonna give up my time afield for work.

I’ve had one for ages. I like it just fine. It was under $200 when I bought it, and I have liked it just fine.

There’s a certain amount of trigger creep. I hope eventually to drop in a Volquartsen kit, but it shoots ok, which is to say it shoots better than I can. I’ve stripped it for cleaning before but never disassembled it completely, which I did tonight.

I’m not sure I understand what all the hooraw is about, I’ve had several people talk about how difficult it is to disassemble these, and it was the simplest thing.
