This new learning amazes me

Explain to me again how sheep’s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes. …

Actually, the new learning is more chemical/biological in nature.

Mild lactose intolerance+half a container of french onion dip= killer death farts.

The kind that leave a blue haze in the bedroom, and movement in bed releases a miasma of toxic fumes which shoot straight up your nose and can cause hemorraging.

better go make the ogwife some breakfast as a peace offering. Assuming she survived.

Just in case

anyone ever wondered what Fred Phelps was all about, read this

I’ve known about some of this crap for a while, but the link details the whole charade- Phelps et al, a bunch of lawyers, are out there trying to provoke reactions, and then sue when they get hammered.

It’s a tough game; I’m sure there is a fine line between the idiots having their asses handed to them and waking up in a burlap bag 9′ underground in a forest preserve. Someday they’ll have that happen, and they won’t be able to sue from the grave. Wonder what they’ll do then?

Meanwhile, these assholes have inadvertently begun things like the Patriot Guard, and that can only be a good thing.

My friends hunting camp

consists of a bunch of prime deer territory, and a Conex box.

No, it’s not just a big steel box, it has windows and a door and insulation and drywall and a cozy stove. The big doors act as a sort of a gear-garage, and that portion is partitioned from the rest of the container.

While we were there, last weekend, we were visited by an array of family and friends, and my host’s daughter and grandchildren; at one point, I opened the door from the outside, and the toddler of the crew who had been leaning against said door toppled out backwards, flipped over the concrete block stoop, and landed on his head.

Great. Self ejecting babies.

Took me several minutes to get my HEART GOING AGAIN, but thankfully, the toddler was unharmed. In the future, I will be much more careful about opening that door!!
