I have no great love for the first family of crime, but I do suspect the series will be excellent, if not for any other reason than Greg Kinnear. The original host, iirc, of ‘Talk Soup”, his wry observation and subtle facial expressions always cracked me up; he was also great in “Mystery Men”, and “As Good as it Gets” was some of his very best work. So, I’ll give “The Kennedy’s” a watch just to see what kind of a job he does with Jack. I’d be willing to bet it’s pretty good.

Twenty years ago, I would no more have thought to wear Crocs while working on a car than I would wear pajamas to Wal-Mart.

Yet.

But the type of car work I do, constantly in and out of the ride while I go to check other stuff or look at the computer or take a break, Crocs just make the most sense. I have to tell you, I would NEVER go to Africa again without a pair, that was the MAJOR thing that was left out of that trip and i felt it, hard.

So when I have to leave the garage and go into the house, I slip out of the Crocks and go in the house, and slip back into them when I go back out. Saves the floors, saves my feet, and it’s effortless. Now if they’d just make them with steel toes.

So I’m taking another day to spend Talking to Wamba on the Big White Phone.

I don’t actually feel bad, I just can’t get far away from a bathroom. I may try to get some shit done today while I’m hovering close to home, like new plugs/wires on the 99 sploder. The sucker threw a 455 while I was dropping the Daughter off at school, no doubt because the boys and girls at Emissions testing told me my gas cap wasn’t working and replaced it.
